About the event
The Songwriters Meetup is a free monthly hang for local songwriters, musicians, and those aspiring to write original music to share their works-in-progress. Sing, play an instrument, or just bring your support for those who are sharing. This is a great space to ask for input, encouragement, fresh ideas, or just supportive listening. Meet new friends and collaborators, and let's build a collaborative thriving musical community here in Lafayette! This is a monthly get-together on the second Wednesday of the month.
Dog House Music Studios has coffee, tea, spring water, and a bar with beer, wine, cider, and hard seltzers! No outside alcohol is permitted.
All skill levels, music genres, and ages are warmly welcomed! The Songwriters Meetup is facilitated by local musician and singer-songwriter Carly Fox.
