AUDIO ENGINEER PAID INTERNSHIP

The audio engineering internship is offered by Rock For The People in partnership with Dog House Music Studios in Lafayette, CO.

 

Audio engineering interns are taught and guided by Dog House Music Studios staff and engineers with the goal of giving interns hands-on experience assisting with professional recording, mixing, and live sound engineering.

 

Compensation is $20/hour.

INTERN JOB ACTIVITIES

• Setting up and operating audio equipment, instruments, microphones, and ProTools digital audio workstation and software

• Collaborating with and assisting musicians and artists throughout recording sessions, mixing sessions, music production sessions, and live performancesSetting up and operating equipment for concerts, open mic nights, and other live events

• Mixing and EQ-ing live and recorded audio

• Editing and mixing recorded audio
