Our audio engineer career development program (offered in partnership with Dog House Music Studios in Lafayette, CO) offers entry-level audio engineers an opportunity for paid work and mentorship.

 

Through the program, entry-level audio engineers are taught and guided by lead engineers and staff. We offer hands-on experience assisting with professional recording, mixing, mastering, and live sound engineering.

 

Compensation is $20/hour.

Job activities include:

​

• Setting up and operating audio equipment, instruments, microphones, and ProTools digital audio workstation and software

• Collaborating with and assisting musicians and artists throughout recording sessions, mixing sessions, music production sessions, and live performances.

• Setting up and operating equipment for concerts, open mic nights, and other live events

• Mixing and EQ-ing live audio

• Editing, mixing, and mastering audio​​
